2) 2022 prospects Sark can flip this offseason: Malick Sylla

Out of all of the prospects on this list, potentially the most difficult flip for Sark and the Longhorns new staff would be the elite four-star 6-foot-6 and 230 pound Katy weak-side defensive end and Texas A&M commit Malick Sylla. The Texas native Sylla did at least have the Longhorns after him for just about as long as the Aggies were.

It wasn’t all that long ago that Sylla announced his commitment to Texas A&M over offers from the Longhorns and 30 other schools. He gave his pledge to head coach Jimbo Fisher and the Aggies back on Jan. 17, 2021.

And some of the other notable schools that sent Sylla a scholarship offer included the Crimson Tide, Auburn, Clemson Tigers, Florida Gators, Florida State Seminoles, Georgia, LSU, Oklahoma, Oregon, Penn State Nittany Lions, Tennessee, USC, and the Washington Huskies.

Winning the interests of Sylla over from College Station would take a huge effort from Sark and defensive line coach Davis. This would not come easy in the slightest.

Moreover, Sylla ranks as the nation’s No. 45 2022 high school prospect, No. 3 weak-side defensive end, and the No. 9 prospect out of Texas (247Sports Composite). And the Top247 ranks him as the nation’s No. 30 high school prospect, No. 4 weak-side defensive end, and No. 8 prospect out of Texas.
