1) 2022 prospects Sark can flip this offseason: Jordan Hudson

It’s always nice if and when the Longhorns can flip a commitment from the rival Sooners and head coach Lincoln Riley. But this one doesn’t seem too far out of reach for Sark and the Longhorns. Texas does have the upper hand of needing a wide receiver commit in the near future in the 2022 class.

It was just back on March 11 that the Longhorns lost the commitment from the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex native Stewart. Texas could use a prospect like the four-star Oklahoma wide receiver commit and Garland High School product Jordan Hudson. The 6-foot-1 and 180 pound product out of the DFW Metroplex committed to the Sooners back on July 21, 2020.

But since Hudson committed to Oklahoma last offseason, he’s received multiple scholarship offers. And it sounds like he is still keeping in communication with other competing schools. Texas is now one of more than 20 schools that have sent scholarship offers Hudson’s way.

Some other notable schools on Hudson’s offer sheet includes the Oregon Ducks, Tennessee Volunteers, Alabama, Auburn, LSU, Nebraska, Texas A&M, USC, and Miami Hurricanes.

Moreover, Hudson ranks as the nation’s No. 120 2022 high school prospect, No. 15 wide receiver, and No. 23 prospect out of Texas (247Sports Composite). And the Top247 ranks him as the nation’s No. 180 high school prospect, No. 26 wide receiver, and No. 29 prospect out of Texas.
