At this point of the NFL offseason, free agency has mostly taken its full effect on changing rosters around the league’s landscape. Headlines were made with a ton of huge contracts handed out last month, and now most of the free agents in the NFL have found homes. That includes a handful of former Texas football players now playing in the league.

Most of what remains on the free agent market at this point is a few impactful players and mostly role players. The likes of defensive end Jadeveon Clowney, offensive tackle Alejandro Villanueva, wide receiver Antonio Brown, and cornerback Steven Nelson, among others, are some of the top names to watch still available in this cycle of free agency in the NFL.

Moreover, there are still quite a few former Longhorns players that have yet to find their next home this offseason. There’s still ample time remaining heading into the summer months for various Texas-Exes to find their next landing spot before next season begins.

We’re also about to see a number of recent former Longhorns taking their talents to the next level when the 2021 NFL Draft commences later this month. A lot of eyes of fans on the Forty Acres sit firmly on where the Texas Exes will land in the NFL this offseason.
