Devin Ree, SF

The only prospect on this list that Texas has already sent a scholarship offer to that is part of the 2022 recruiting cycle is the four-star LSU Tigers commit and 6-foot-8 and 185 pound Terry (MS) small forward Devin Ree. This Terry, MS, native picked up a lot of national recruiting attention early on in his recruitment.

Ree had more than 10 schools on his growing offer sheet before he gave his commitment to LSU back on Dec. 9, 2020. At the time, Ree was the initial commit in the 2021 LSU recruiting class. And that’s still how it remains for the Tigers as of the night of April 19.

Texas was one of the schools to send an offer to Ree early on. In fact, Smart and the Longhorns were the third school to send Ree an offer, which originally came back on July 16, 2020. That came just one day after he received his offer from LSU last summer.

Texas and LSU are two of 11 schools in total on Ree’s offer sheet. Some of the other notable schools on his offer sheet are the Auburn Tigers, Georgia Bulldogs, Memphis Tigers, Mississippi State Bulldogs, Ole Miss Rebels, South Carolina Gamecocks, and Southern Miss Golden Eagles.
