The two other former Red Raiders that are still in the transfer portal at this point of the offseason that made this list are names that I have discussed before. But one former Red Raider that was coached up by Beard in recent years that still has his name in the portal looking for his next home is the 6-foot-8 and 225 pound redshirt sophomore forward Joel Ntambwe.

As a former underrated three-star recruit and a college player that is already becoming a career journeyman, Ntambwe has to be hoping that his next transfer destination is the right permanent home for him. Ntambwe originally started out his college career playing for the UNLV Rebels in the Mountain West Conference.

But after just one season, which came back during the 2018-19 campaign when he was a true freshman, Ntambwe put his name in the transfer portal departing from the UNLV program. He had to sit out the 2019-20 college hoops season thanks to the transfer redshirt rule. And then Ntambwe only played in three games with Texas Tech last season before putting his name in the portal for the second time in his career.

In just 34 games played over the course of his three year college career, Ntambwe averaged 11.2 points per game, 5.4 rebounds, 0.6 assists, 0.5 steals, and 0.3 blocks. And he shot 41.7 percent from the field, a solid 60.0 percent from beyond the arc, and 50.0 percent from the free-throw line.

Most of the solid production that came for Ntambwe in his college career to date was back during his freshman season with the Rebels.
