Georgia Tech

What could be a really interesting landing spot up next for the Houston-area native Epps would be with the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets in the ACC. Georgia Tech was the landing spot for one entrant to the transfer portal for the Longhorns last year. Former talented four-star recruit and sophomore cornerback Kenyatta Watson II took his talents to his home state and committed to the Yellow Jackets last fall.

Georgia Tech has already lost three wide receivers to the transfer portal this offseason. And while they did fill one of those spots with a transfer addition of their own, in the form of former Northwestern Wildcat Kyric McGowan, there still could be more spots to fill at the skill positions.

As a heavy pursuer of Epps on the recruiting trail back during the 2018 cycle, the fourth-year tight end does have ties back to Atlanta with the Yellow Jackets. Georgia Tech was one of the 10 schools to offer Epps coming out of high school.

This could be one of the rising teams in the ACC in the near future under the direction of third-year head coach Geoff Collins. It only seems like a matter of time before the Yellow Jackets get moving in the right direction. Getting an early impact player like Epps in the mix could help them out right away.
