It’s not just the football program on the Forty Acres that is about to get things back up and running on the recruiting trail this summer for when official visit season starts next month. A number of key targets for new head coach Chris Beard and the 2022 Texas basketball recruiting class are set to come to the forefront in the next couple of weeks.

Beard and the Longhorns already have a number of their own official visits lined up for June, and quite a few others that have either received recent offers or greatly boosted attention on the national scene. Texas could get things up and running for their 2022 class by landing a commitment from during the official visit season next month. With that in mind, here’s a look into four of the elite targets of the Longhorns 2022 class coming to the forefront in May.
