We’re now less than 10 days away from the start of the initial set of official visits for targets of both the 2022 and 2023 Texas football recruiting classes. Texas will be one of the programs in the Big 12 that is impacted more on the intense end of the spectrum by official visit season starting up again next month.

Since the Longhorns are breaking in a completely new coaching staff this offseason, they will have less to work off of in terms of the pitch to prospects before visits come around. Texas fans are bound to see a heavy of decisions get announced as official visits come and go starting next month. A lot of high school prospects that really never get a true set of visits to some of their top schools will be getting to go through that process for the first time next month.

Which prospects to watch in particular for Texas football recruiting next month?

Sark and the Longhorns have a few dozen prospects that are targets of their 2022 and 2023 classes set to visit campus in June. The first weekend of official visits is set to take place on June 4.

That will be the first opportunity for the Longhorns to get a major spark on the recruiting trail for their 2022 and 2023 classes since February and March. Texas can add to their eight commits in the 2022 class and lone commit in the 2023 class if they get visits right next month.
