In a time where the 2022 Texas football recruiting class might have their busiest point of the offseason calendar, new head coach Steve Sarkisian is getting to work the week ahead of the start of official visit season. Sark is likely to get a lot of activity on the recruiting trail for both the 2022 and 2023 classes in the weeks to come.

A few dozen prospects for the Longhorns 2022 and 2023 classes are set to visit campus for the next four weekends. It will be the first time that the Longhorns have hosted top prospects on campus for official visits since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.

With things like virtual visits and voluntary “site-seeing” tours to campus now subsiding in importance this summer for official and unofficial visits starting back up, the Longhorns need to get it right next month. Texas could really heat up on the recruiting trail this summer if they make the right impressions on visiting prospects in June.
