What seems like the surest thing up next for the Longhorns in terms of getting a commitment in the very near future could come from the towering three-star Duncanville 6-foot-5 and 360-pound offensive tackle Cameron Williams. Texas also had Williams on campus for an official visit last weekend, which gives them the last word before his decision is announced on July 1.

We are roughly 24 hours away now from getting the decision of Williams announced. He also announced on his Twitter timeline on the evening of June 29 that his final three schools include Texas, the Oklahoma Sooners, and Oregon Ducks. He visited Oregon officially on June 4, and Oklahoma on June 18.

There is one expert 247Sports Crystal Ball Predictions in for Williams projecting his commitment to land with Texas over the rest of the field. And the Rivals FutureCast has all of their analysts and publishers picking the commitment of Williams to go to Texas.

The writing is on the wall now for Texas to get the pledge of Williams following what looked to be an awesome visit on the Forty Acres last weekend. It seems like Sark, Flood, and the Longhorns knocked it out of the park with Williams’ visit last weekend, which is good news ahead of his decision.

If Texas does get the commitment from Williams on July 1, then it would be the first offensive lineman in this 2022 class. That would be a good start for Texas ahead of key decisions that could come within the next few months from the likes of five-star offensive tackle Kelvin Banks and five-star offensive lineman Devon Campbell.
