We got a good glimpse into what the depth chart will look like in fall practice this week for the Texas football program, especially on the offensive side of the ball. Texas is getting closer to the kick-off of the regular season, which means the depth chart is getting closer and closer to being finalized ahead of Week 1.
New head coach Steve Sarkisian and the Longhorns are now less than three weeks from the start of the regular season. Sark and the Longhorns kick-off the regular season slate on Sep. 4 at home at Darrell K. Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium against the Louisiana Ragin-Cajuns.
Texas is also now directly in between the first and second fall scrimmages. That is something that really provides a good glimpse into what the depth chart could shape out to be on either side of the ball. We will really start understanding how each side of the ball could play out for the Longhorns in Week 1 in the second fall scrimmage.
