Dylan Raiola, QB

As previously mentioned, some of these visiting prospects for the Longhorns in the Big 12 opener this weekend against the Red Raiders extend all the way to the 2024, 2025, and 2026 classes. That means that Texas is set to host at least one prospect that has yet to even start high school yet.

But the next name up on this list that is a key visiting prospect this weekend for the Longhorns is the highly touted four-star 2024 Burleson (TX) quarterback Dylan Raiola. A key developing quarterback to watch early on for the Longhorns 2024 class, this could be an important marker early in the recruitment of Raiola.

Texas is one of 10 schools that have already sent scholarship offers Raiola’s way. Some of the other notable schools on his offer sheet include the Florida State Seminoles, Georgia Bulldogs, Mizzou Tigers, Nebraska Cornhuskers, TCU, Texas Tech, and the West Virginia Mountaineers.

Raiola also holds reported scout looks at this point from Alabama and the Clemson Tigers.

With four-star Junipero Serra quarterback and Texas commit Maalik Murphy headed to the Forty Acres for a visit this weekend, this is a nice chance for the Longhorns to build a solid foundation in the relationship with Raiola. There will be plenty of people in attendance at this game for the Longhorns this weekend to also help recruit Raiola to Texas.
