Texas Football: 3 best transfer landing spots for WR Joshua Moore
Nebraska
It seems like a good spot for Moore to land next out of the transfer portal would be with a mid-tier Power Five program. That is the type of team where he could make an immediate impact, and still get a shot to become a conference title contender if things really go well.
Granted, that is pretty bold to say that head coach Scott Frost and the former Big 12 blue blood Nebraska Cornhuskers will be a title contender anytime soon in the Big Ten. Frost and the Huskers are a long way off from achieving that status right now.
Who knows, though, as Nebraska at least competed more than usual with the likes of top 10 teams like the Ohio State Buckeyes, Oklahoma Sooners, and Michigan Wolverines this fall. It is a bit unfortunate that the Huskers find themselves in the position of a 3-7 team at the moment.
What Nebraska could do for Moore is provide a team that could be ushering the offense into a new era in the next couple of years. Moore could join a receiving corps in Lincoln that has sent a number of players to the NFL in the last few seasons. Nebraska is also averaging more than 265 passing yards per game, which is a good number in the Big Ten.
Nebraska is also the third of the three schools on this list that offered Moore coming out of high school. The difference is that Nebraska put a lot more effort and attention into the recruitment of Moore compared to Mississippi State and Arizona State. That could be something that helps the Huskers if they want to sign Moore out of the transfer portal.
