Malik Agbo, OT

It wouldn’t surprise me one bit if the next commitment to come along the offensive line around the start of the Early Signing Period for the Longhorns is the talented four-star Todd Beamer (WA) offensive tackle Malik Agbo.

Agbo is set to announce his decision on the first day of the Early Signing Period, which is Dec. 15. He could be the sixth offensive line commit in the Longhorns 2022 class, which would obviously be a massive turn of events for Texas in a positive sense. Agbo could also be the fourth blue-chip offensive linemen to join the 2022 class.

The 6-foot-6 and 320-pound Agbo actually feels a bit underrated in terms of his positioning in this 2022 class. He’s got a high ceiling, an excellent motor off the line of scrimmage, and really drives on blocks through multiple levels of the defense. Agbo is also one of the potential offensive linemen that could join the 2022 class for the Longhorns that could challenge for starting reps right away next year.

The three schools that also look to be involved to land the commitment of Agbo are the Oklahoma Sooners, Miami Hurricanes, and Auburn Tigers. But this looks to be one that offensive line coach/offensive coordinator Kyle Flood and the Longhorns should be able to close in on during the first day of the Early Signing Period.

Texas is trying to bring in as many offensive linemen as they can at this point to the 2022 class among their key targets heading into the Early Signing Period. And Agbo definitely figures into that picture.
