Outlet predicts 5-Star QB Arch Manning to commit to Georgia

One of the main overarching storylines for the offseason ahead for head coach Steve Sarkisian and the Texas football program will be the recruitment of the elite five-star Isidore Newman (LA) quarterback Arch Manning. Texas’ 2023 recruiting class couldn’t do much better to establish a solid foundation than by landing a commitment from the insanely highly touted Louisiana native Manning.

Sark and the Longhorns looked to be one of the top three or four schools in the race to eventually land a commitment from Manning since last summer. But this recruitment continues to be something that is pretty mysterious and will take time for the true top one or two schools to emerge for Manning.

Yet, most indicators are still pointing to the Longhorns as one of the top two or three schools in Manning’s recruitment right now. That still looks to be the case despite Texas landing a commitment out of the NCAA Transfer Portal from the former Ohio State Buckeyes freshman quarterback and elite five-star recruit Quinn Ewers earlier this month.

As time moves along, though, there will be more and more indicators that could point to the leader for Manning’s decision. And one recruiting outlet, the On3 Network, had a prediction put in for where Manning will commit to this week. The On3 Network had their Recruiting Prediction Machine give the edge to the Georgia Bulldogs over Texas and the Alabama Crimson Tide to eventually land a commitment from Manning.

This prediction machine gave Georgia roughly a 35 percent chance to get Manning’s commitment. The two schools with the next best shot to land Manning from the prediction machine were Alabama (27 percent) and Texas (19 percent).

On3 mentions multiple factors that go into this AI-powered prediction machine including social media indicators, visits, coaching staff success, and industry leaders, among many other sources.

At this point, I would clearly consider Texas, Georgia, and Alabama as the top three schools in Manning’s recruitment. But that could change as it looks like the Isidore Newman star quarterback is at least four or six months away from getting closer to making his decision official.
