Among the wide receiver targets to watch early on for the Longhorns 2023 class is the 5-foot-10 and 175-pound Lovejoy product Kyle Parker. While he doesn’t have that elusive blue-chip ranking yet under his belt, that is definitely something that looks to be attainable for the rising in-state product Parker.

It is excellent to see how active Parker is on social media in relation to the Longhorns after the hire of Marion on staff. Parker retweeted multiple posts on Twitter by Marion himself and Texas’ official football page. Parker seems to be excited about this hire for the Longhorns, and it looks to be somewhat of a drawing point for him to the program at this point.

According to a report from Inside Texas (part of the On3 Network, paid content) this week, Marion has built a good relationship with Parker since his breakthrough junior season at Lovejoy High School. Texas could clearly be doing something right with Parker if they send an offer his way.

Parker did also hold an offer from Pitt when Marion was still employed with that coaching staff. Pitt was actually one of the early schools to offer Parker, coming back in early October. That has to bode well with Parker if Texas is able to send an offer his way soon. I would definitely anticipate that Parker gets one of the next offers that Texas sends out to 2023 prospects this month.
