2 transfer portal targets Texas is trending for

Among the most talented players in the transfer portal right now is the former Alabama edge rusher and elite five-star recruit Drew Sanders. This Texas native was once a huge target of the Longhorns on the recruiting trail. But the one-time Oklahoma Sooners commit would ultimately take his talents to join the Crimson Tide a couple of years ago.
This is now the Longhorns’ opportunity to be able to get Sanders to campus for good. It looks like there is some early mutual interest there between Texas and Sanders too. Given the amount of hype coming from Sanders entering the transfer portal this week, it looks like the Longhorns are going to have to move quickly to ensure they stay among his top schools throughout this process.
Yet, the lone expert 247Sports transfer Crystal Ball Prediction in for Sanders projects his commitment out of the portal to go to Texas. It also seems like most of the smoke coming out of the pursuit of Sanders is largely talking about Texas as a potential landing spot for him.

Some other potential schools to watch for after Sanders put his name in the transfer portal earlier this week are the Arkansas Razorbacks and Oklahoma. It looks like this trio of schools including Texas, Oklahoma, and Arkansas, should all get visits from Sanders. Locking down on his interest in Texas during a potential visit soon is the next task at hand in pursuit of a commitment from Sanders out of the portal.
