Essentially the lone target for second-year head coach Steve Sarkisian, offensive line coach/offensive coordinator Kyle Flood, and the 2022 Texas football recruiting class with a decision to watch on National Signing Day is one of the top offensive linemen in the country. Elite five-star Bowie interior offensive lineman Devon Campbell has a looming decision to watch on Feb. 2 that would be a fantastic cap to Texas’ 2022 class.

Sark, Flood, and the Longhorns are looking to officially seal the deal with Campbell on the afternoon of Feb. 2, when he’s set to announce his decision and subsequently sign his National Letter of Intent. Campbell now looks to be down to only Texas and the Oklahoma Sooners on the second signing period too.

It is longtime Oklahoma offensive line coach Bill Bedenbaugh that kept the Sooners around in this conversation for such a lengthy period of time. Campbell valuing that relationship so much slotted Oklahoma alongside Texas as his top two schools ahead of his Feb. 2 decision date.
