
The month of March will be a critical one on the trail for the 2023 Texas football recruiting class. With the dead period letting up earlier this week, in-person visits are allowed on campus again. And the Texas coaching staff is already back at it in terms of getting in-person visitors in Austin.
Second-year head coach Steve Sarkisian and the Longhorns staff are already set to host multiple visitors in Austin this week. That comes before the Longhorns staff will prepare for some crucial visit weekends in late March and early April. Those March and April visit weekends are going to come right in the midst of spring camp.
Yet, with how quiet the news cycle was on the recruiting trail front for the Longhorns in the last couple of months, especially in relation to the 2023 class, this visit season could spark some movement. Texas could use a jolt on the recruiting trail to start building momentum before the big-time visitors really start arriving on campus later this month and early next.
