The first big visit weekend of the spring has arrived for second-year head coach Steve Sarkisian and his staff with a number of important targets of the 2023 and 2024 Texas football recruiting classes arriving on the Forty Acres in the next day or so. Some have already arrived on campus for their weekend visit too.

Sark and the Longhorns staff might not have a bigger visit weekend in the midst of spring ball than the one coming up. Texas is set to host some of the biggest names that are targets of their 2023 and 2024 recruiting classes. And there will be an energy on campus that will be difficult to match for the rest of the spring.

There were already three key targets of the Longhorns 2023 class on campus this week, two on March 24 and one on March 22. The two highlighting recruits for the Longhorns that had visits already on campus this week were four-star Temple athlete Mikal Harrison-Pilot and four-star Long Beach Poly (CA) cornerback Daylen Austin.

But the trio of visitors the Longhorns hosted in the last few days pales in comparison to the importance of the list of visitors coming up this weekend. Some of the visitors for this coming weekend are set to have their time with the staff and team set to last multiple days.

Of the roughly two-dozen visitors the Longhorns are hosting this weekend, which are the most important to watch?

Here’s a look into four of the most important elite 2023 recruits for the Longhorns set to visit this weekend.
