5 key recruits visiting Texas this weekend
This weekend is really turning out to be a much bigger one in terms of the list of visitors for second-year head coach Steve Sarkisian and the Texas football program than originally anticipated. Sark and his staff are getting set to host more than a dozen key visitors between high school prospects and key target(s) out of the NCAA Transfer Portal this weekend.
At the outset of spring ball, it looked like there were three major visit weekends to note for Sark and the Longhorns staff. And that shaped up to be true through the first two weekends of spring camp on the Forty Acres.
Some of the top recruits to watch that are visiting Texas football this weekend
Texas hosted some massive visitors on the first two weekends of spring ball including the likes of the elite five-star Isidore Newman quarterback Arch Manning, five-star El Campo running back Rueben Owens, five-star Denton-Ryan linebacker Anthony Hill, four-star DeSoto wide receiver Johntay Cook, etc. Some of those aforementioned targets even were set to visit Texas multiple times this spring.
Moreover, as this week moved along, the weekend visitor list continued to grow. And that includes high school targets on the recruiting trail through the 2025 class. Texas even has one big-time visitor out of the transfer portal this weekend in the former Alabama Crimson Tide freshman wide receiver and highly touted four-star recruit Agiye Hall.
