One of the most exciting position groups to watch in the spring game this weekend will be wide receiver.

In fact, the skill positions, in general, are going to be one of the more important groups to watch for Sark and the Longhorns in the altered spring game on this night. And one of the major reasons why is all of the new additions and rising players in this program that are looking to make a big impression on this staff and the fans.

Texas has a plethora of new skill position players on campus that are looking to cap spring ball on a high note this weekend. That includes the likes of former four-star recruit and freshman running back Jaydon Blue, former Alabama Crimson Tide junior tight end Jahleel Billingsley, former Wyoming Cowboys breakout redshirt freshman wide receiver Isaiah Neyor, etc.

Neyor will be one of the most fun players to watch at the skill positions, even in the non-standard format spring game. It will be exciting to watch this big-time transfer portal pickup for the Longhorns finally get to go one-on-one with some of the better Texas defensive backs to cap spring ball.

From what we’ve heard coming out of spring practice and the last couple of scrimmages, Neyor has played well. But it still looks like he has something to prove with the Longhorns this fall, especially with the recent addition of the former touted four-star recruit and Alabama freshman transfer wide receiver Agiye Hall last week.
