Texas football finished up spring camp last weekend with an altered version of the annual Orange-White spring football game taking place at Darrell K. Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium on the night of April 23. Second-year Texas head coach Steve Sarkisian looked to round out spring ball on a high note over the weekend with some of the positives that came out of this non-standard format spring football game.

Sark and the Longhorns staff had to run more of a scrimmage and/or situational-style spring game that was shortened and didn’t really have a score kept the entire time. That was due to the shortage of offensive line depth at least among the scholarship players at this spot heading into last weekend.

Texas saw more flashes from the offenses than the defensive units in the spring scrimmage. But you can’t really put a whole lot of stock into the play of either the offense or the defense in the trenches in a spring game. That is especially the case with Texas not even playing in a regular spring game with the score kept.

Moreover, we’re likely to see some sort of shift in the two-deep depth chart coming out of spring ball for Sark and the Longhorns. Texas had a lot of new additions to the program that seemingly make an impact on the coaching staff right away. And that is going to shift what the depth chart shapes up to be heading into the fall.

With that in mind, here’s a look at three Longhorns players that could lose starting spots post-spring ball.
