Predicting destinations for uncommitted Texas football transfers
Myron Warren, DL
One of the initial post-spring losses for the Longhorns to the transfer portal was the redshirt sophomore defensive lineman and former four-star recruit Myron Warren. Texas lost Warren to the transfer portal back on April 26, roughly three days after the spring game.

And the lone offer that Warren has that we know of since he entered the portal came from head coach Deion Sanders and the FCS Jackson State Tigers. Warren did also have a couple of SWAC offers during his recruitment out of high school.
We’re going with Jackson State as the de facto landing spot for Warren here.
Destination: Jackson State
Jordon Thomas, DE/EDGE
Texas lost a good number of defensive linemen to the portal since last fall. The good news is that most of the losses were among those defensive linemen buried deeper down the depth chart heading into spring camp.
Freshman defensive end/edge rusher Jordon Thomas seems like a candidate to land at a Group of Five program looking to add more depth at the EDGE spot. Thomas is a former blue-chip recruit that was never really a participant with the team with Sark and his staff at the helm.
I could see Thomas linking up with other former Longhorns players with the SMU Mustangs (i.e. Kelvontay Dixon and David Abiara) out of the portal this offseason. SMU offered Thomas out of high school and could pursue him once again.
Destination: SMU
Jaden Hullaby, LB/ATH
There are two potential landing spots out of the portal that stuck out immediately for me with the former three-star athlete recruit and redshirt freshman linebacker Jaden Hullaby. One is with the TCU Horned Frogs and new head coach Sonny Dykes. And the other lies with his brother and incoming freshman Texas Tech Red Raiders safety Landon Hullaby.
Since Jaden will be familiar with Lubbock and get to play with his brother at Texas Tech, this seems like a logical landing spot. New head coach Joey McGuire has also offered a boost of energy to the Red Raiders football program in the last few months.
