The most obvious inclusion on this list that made his way to campus for spring ball for Sark, Marion, and the Longhorns is the former Wyoming Cowboys redshirt freshman breakout wide receiver Neyor. Texas is going to get a big-splash wideout that will be a big-time threat on the outside for either Card or Ewers this fall.

If Ewers winds up winning the starting quarterback job in fall camp, then it will really play to the benefit of Neyor. This connection could be something special given the insane physical traits and ball skills that the 6-foot-3 and 210-pound Neyor brings to the table.

Last season at Wyoming, Neyor registered more than 900 total yards from scrimmage with 13 total touchdowns.

We also can’t forget that Neyor was able to do all that as a redshirt freshman when he was a regular starter for the first time in his collegiate career. He’s going to only get better from here with the Longhorns.

Furthermore, one of the really amazing aspects of his stat line from last season is the fact that he averaged 20 yards per catch, good for best in the Mountain West Conference and fifth in the FBS.

That type of punch and big-play ability was not something that Texas had among their outside receivers last season. Redshirt junior wideout Joshua Moore was the most common starting receiver at the z spot last season. But he averaged fewer than a dozen yards per catch.

Neyor did all of this damage last season while only coming down with just 3.4 receptions per game. And drops were definitely not the reason for his lack of catches last season (just a 6.4 drop percentage). If he can even get north of 55-60 receptions this coming season, 1,000 receiving yards will be very attainable for Neyor.
