Will Randle, TE

Potentially the most likely addition for the Longhorns 2023 class during the month of June following the commitment of Shannon earlier in the week could come from the three-star Isidore Newman tight end and underrated Arch teammate Will Randle. Texas has now long looked like the favorite to win the race to land a commitment from Randle.

And given the fact that Sark and special teams coordinator/tight ends coach Jeff Banks appear intent to take multiple commits at the position in the 2023 class, the chances for the Longhorns to nab a commitment from Randle in the very near future look good.

Moreover, Randle is set to take his official visit with Texas starting on June 17, for the same weekend as his quarterback teammate Arch. And this weekend might just be what Texas needed to seal the deal with Randle.

Texas got a very potent and versatile addition to the 2023 class at the tight end position out of the west coast product Shannon. The lengthy and promising 6-foot-7 Shannon has physical gifts that you just can’t teach.

But the familiarity that Randle has with Sark and Banks along with his polish as a receiving tight end makes him a potentially valuable commodity to the Longhorns 2023 class.

Texas is currently the only school scheduled to get an official visit from Randle. This will also be his third visit to Texas since March.

Take all of this into account and I would bet that Randle is the best candidate to join the Longhorns 2023 class at some point in the next couple of weeks.
