Cedric Baxter Jr.

In the class of 2023, Sarkisian and co. have offered 11 running backs. Of those 11, eight remain uncommitted.

I believe this Longhorn coaching staff should switch most of their efforts to Cedric Baxter Jr. out of Orlando, FL. He. is currently rated as the No. 3 running back and No. 48 overall prospect in the country.

Baxter is a mountain of a man. Currently listed at 6-foot-1, 215 pounds, he has a chance to grow into a collegiate playing weight of 230 pounds. Baxter combines a battering ram style of running with good vision and solid agility.

Baxter has taken multiple trips to Austin including a visit over the weekend of June 10. It should be noted that Texas running backs coach Tashard Choice is said to have a great relationship with Baxter. This recruitment will likely come down to Texas, Texas A&M, and Alabama.
