Predicting Texas football’s next commit after Arch Manning
Jaydon Chatman, IOL
The lone offensive linemen on this list is also quickly emerging as one of the true priority recruits for offensive line coach/offensive coordinator Kyle Flood and the Longhorns this summer. Rising four-star Harker Heights (TX) interior offensive lineman Jaydon Chatman is a recruit to watch for the Longhorns faithful for the rest of the summer.
After missing out on the hometown four-star Vandegrift offensive tackle Ian Reed to head coach Dabo Swinney and the Clemson Tigers a couple of weeks ago, Texas really started to push harder for Chatman. And that will likely continue to be the case on the recruiting trail for the rest of the summer for Flood and the Longhorns.

Moreover, Flood and the Longhorns are set to host Chatman on an official visit this coming weekend. And this would certainly look like one of the possible commitments that Texas could reel in this weekend if any come to fruition following the pledge of Manning.
The good news for Texas in this recruitment heading into the official visit weekend is that Chatman was already looking good for the Longhorns before the commitment of Arch. Texas had a long-established relationship with Chatman and his camp well before this summer.
Add a commitment from Arch to the equation and Texas looks really favorable for Chatman as we inch toward a possible summer decision from this skilled in-state offensive lineman.
