Earlier this week, second-year head coach Steve Sarkisian and quarterbacks coach AJ Milwee landed the marquee commitment to build out the rest of the 2023 Texas football recruiting class. Texas landed a humongous commitment back on June 23 from the elite five-star Isidore Newman quarterback Arch Manning.

As the clear-cut top target for Sark in the Longhorns 2023 class, Arch is the commitment that could be a real program-changer for Texas after a disappointing 2021 season. Landing this type of once-in-a-generation talent in the 2023 class is something that goes to show that Sark and this staff really do have this program moving in the right direction at the moment.

The goal now has to be for Sark and the Longhorns staff to build on this momentum in the 2023 class by starting to rake in the commits among their top targets on the recruiting trail. Texas has the opportunity to continue capitalizing on this momentum on the recruiting trail as soon as this weekend.

Sark and the Longhorns staff are hosting more than a dozen important official visitors in Austin this weekend. And with this key official visit weekend about to wrap up on June 26, we might see more activity come about for the 2023 class in the next couple of days.

What Texas fans want to see in the 2023 class following the commitment of Arch is Sark and this staff taking advantage by pulling in more top blue-chip recruits. With that in mind, here’s a look at a prediction of each five-star recruit that the Longhorns could land in the 2023 class after nabbing Arch.
