A little more than two weeks from the start of fall camp for second-year head coach Steve Sarkisian and the Texas football program, fans are starting to anticipate what the roster and depth chart will look like ahead of the start of the 2022 regular season. Texas added a plethora of new players to the roster this offseason and saw some of the familiar faces from last season’s team depart.

We are going to see a plethora of new starters for the Longhorns on both sides of the ball this fall. The question that most Texas fans are asking, though, is which new starters could make the biggest impact out of the gates this coming season.

To figure that out, we need to know which players will get significant live-game reps at the outset of the 2022 regular season by holding key spots on the two-deep depth chart. That picture will start to unfold as fall camp commences on Aug. 4.

Most fans want to know what this Texas offense will look like at the skill positions to prepare for a difficult non-conference schedule that features the likes of projected preseason top 25 teams such as the Alabama Crimson Tide and UTSA Roadrunners.
