Boogie Knight, WR
Boogie Knight is the most explosive offensive playmaker on this ULM roster. He proved that very early on in the 2021 season after transferring from Akron.
Helped by a redshirt season and an extra COVID year, Knight is entering his sixth season in college football. He is an experienced athlete who is lethal with the ball in his hands. He was the Warhawks’ leading receiver last season, amassing 588 yards and three touchdowns on 45 receptions.
He is also the primary kick and punt returner for Coach Bowden.
Knight is one of the few players on this roster who can come close to matching the athletic ability of the Texas defensive backs. I expect Coach Bowden to target his playmaker early and often. With that said, Texas defensive coordinator Pete Kwiatkowski also knows where the Warhawks will be looking to go with the ball on Saturday. How the Longhorn defense deals with Knight will be an interesting cat and mouse matchup to watch on Saturday night.
