Zack Woodard is the heart and soul of this ULM defense. Like the aforementioned Boogie Knight, Woodard is entering his sixth season in college football and second as a Warhawk.
Woodard is the leading returner in tackles, tackles for loss, and sacks on this team. He is a do-everything middle linebacker who leads this defense with both his play and his words.
Standing at 6-foot-1, 240 pounds, Woodard has the requisite size to match up physically with the Longhorns. The lack of agility and lateral speed is where the linebacker may get in trouble. To tackle Bijan Robinson, you first have to catch him.

Look for Woodard to be a strong presence in the middle of this defense on Saturday night, though, I do not think his single effort will be able to slow down this Texas offense.
