YETI celebrates launch of new Wheeled Roadie Hard Coolers as it hosts this weekend’s tastiest tailgate in Austin, Texas.

YETI and Meat Church’s Matt Pittman are teaming up to hook up Longhorns and Crimson Tide fans this weekend at the Alabama – Texas game.

We’ve got a battle of college football titans this weekend and if you’re a fan planning on heading to Darrell K. Royal Memorial Stadium this Saturday, then you’re going to want to keep an eye out for YETI and their Texas-based pitmaster brand ambassador Matt Pittman (CEO of Meat Church).

Why? Because they’ll be posted up around the tailgate festivities with some world-class BBQ for Texas and Alabama fans.

Pittman – an Alabama native – will be cooking up some old fashioned Texas BBQ and Alabama-style pulled pork, loading it up in YETI’s new Roadie 60 wheeled cooler (to keep it nice and warm), then feeding some hungry fans.

In fact, Pittman has been named ESPN College Gameday’s Taste of the Town.

Alabama and Texas will clash at 11AM CT, marking the 10th meeting between the two universities. Texas holds a 7-1-1 all-time record against the Tide.

The tailgate starts at 8AM CT on Bevo Boulevard, and you’ll be able to grab some BBQ at two designated YETI locations – but keep an eye out because YETI is going to be surprising fans in a few mystery locations.

But be warned – once you’ve seen YETI’s Roadie 48 and 60 wheeled coolers, you’re going to want one for yourself.

Because, simply, it’s a must-have for tailgating.

It features a retractable handle, never-flat wheels, non-slip feet and permafrost insulation. That means your beers, sodas, water and wine stay ice cold. But of course you aren’t limited to beverages. The Roadie 60 has interior measurements of 18 1/2” × 11 3/5” × 15 3/5” – meaning it’s plenty big enough for your ribs, briskets, burgers and whatever else you plan on eating pregame.

If you’re interested – and you really should be, because these are the best possible coolers you can buy – you can shop YETI here. Or, if you’re still a little skeptical, you can check out our in-depth review of the YETI 48 wheeled cooler here.
