Offensive line

Left tackle

1. Kelvin Banks

2. Andrej Karic

Left tackle is settled for the Longhorns heading into Week 2. Freshman offensive tackle Kelvin Banks had a solid opener and first career start last weekend against ULM. He’ll be backed up by sophomore Andrej Karic for what looks to be the foreseeable future.

Left guard

1. Hayden Conner

2. Logan Parr

Left guard is also set for the Longhorns heading into Week 2. Sophomore offensive guard Hayden Conner had a pretty spotless performance against ULM. He’ll be challenged up the middle by the likes of DJ Dale and Jaheim Oatis this weekend.

Center

1. Jake Majors

2. Conner Robertson

One of the rockier Week 1 performances along the offensive line for Texas came from sophomore center Jake Majors. A couple of quarterback pressures and run stuffs allowed isn’t a good sign for Majors heading into the Alabama game.

Right guard

1. Cole Hutson

2. DJ Campbell

The most up and down performer for the Longhorns last weekend was true freshman right guard Cole Hutson. Texas surely saw the promise that Hutson brings to the table in Week 1. Seeing how he’s able to hold up against this talented Alabama defensive line will be a huge test for him this weekend.

Right tackle

1. Christian Jones

2. Cam Williams

The most experienced of the Texas starting offensive linemen and one of the more capable run blockers is senior right tackle Christian Jones. In Week 1, Jones had some impressive run blocks. Texas will need him to hold the edge to the best of his ability against those great edge rushers for Alabama.
