Ahead of the big-time matchup between the Texas football program and the No. 1 ranked Alabama Crimson Tide on Sep. 10, there was something noteworthy that came about for this team thanks to the star junior running back Bijan Robinson. Texas’ Heisman contender had it emerge on social media on Sep. 9 that he gifted his teammates something ahead of this critical meeting with head coach Nick Saban and the Crimson Tide.

Bijan apparently gifted all of his teammates a pair of burnt orange Beats headphones ahead of this big-time matchup between the Longhorns and Crimson Tide at home at Darrell K. Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium this weekend.

The box read “fellas, this is our year!”. And it said “hope you enjoy these Beats Studio Headphones as a token of my appreciation” and “let’s get this W and go be a blessing to everyone”.

This was really nice to see from Bijan, who has really piled up the NIL deals ahead of his junior season with the Longhorns.

Bijan has some notable NIL deals with the likes of Lamborghini, Rhoback, Onyx Authenticated (football trading cards), and he also has a line of mustard called “Bijan Mustardson”.

It’s also worth noting that Bijan will play a critical role in the chances for Texas to put Alabama on upset alert on Sep. 10. Bijan is the best Longhorns player heading into this game, and he will be put to the test against this uber-talented Alabama defense.

Bijan and the Longhorns head into this meeting with the Crimson Tide following a convincing win in their regular season opener at home on Sep. 3 against the Louisiana-Monroe Warhawks. Meanwhile, Alabama comes into this game with a record of 1-0 (0-0 SEC) following their dominant 55-10 win over the Utah State Aggies at home on Sep. 3.
