Texas football picked up their first Big 12 victory of the season on Saturday night as they dismantled West Virginia 38-20 inside of Darrell K. Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium.

This was a much-needed performance as some noise outside of the program suspected a change in the season’s momentum if the Horns were to drop this one at home.

Texas moved to 3-2 (1-1) and a tie for fifth early into Big 12 conference play.

The win on Saturday night was spearheaded by an offensive effort that saw Texas score touchdowns on four consecutive possessions in the first half. The Longhorns totaled 446 yards and scored touchdowns on all three drives that reached the red zone.

Coming into the season, it was very well known what Coach Sarkisian had at his disposal when it came to the offensive skill positions. The Longhorns have a plethora of four and five-star playmakers on offense. When they are all clicking, this offense becomes nearly impossible to stop.

As the Longhorns enter Red River week, let’s take a look back at Saturday night and give out three game balls to the Texas offense.
