A little less than 24 hours from kickoff between Texas football and the Oklahoma Sooners in the Red River Rivalry game, the fans up in Norman got to work on social media to try and roast head coach Steve Sarkisian. On Twitter on the morning of Oct. 7, the Oklahoma faithful were out in force putting their best shot forward to roast Sark.

We got tweet after tweet trying to take shots at Sark before the Sooners face the Longhorns this weekend.

Some of the bigger Oklahoma social media accounts, such as SB Nation’s Crimson and Cream Machine and Barstool Sooners, were active on social media with their jabs at Sark.

Sark was trending on social media throughout the morning of Oct. 7 almost solely thanks to the Oklahoma faithful. There were more than 2,000 tweets just in the last few hours that helped to get Sark trending on social media ahead of Red River this weekend.

He needs it if he’s driving on those horrible Oklahoma roads.

Last that I checked, Steve Carell was spelled with just one “r”. Classic OU fan not being able to spell a simple name.

Moreover, Texas fans got involved in the roasting of head coaches on social media on Oct. 7. Texas fans went after new Oklahoma head coach Brent Venables simultaneous to Sooner fans trying to roast Sark.

OU week is always one of the best times of the year for the Longhorns, especially if Texas can bring a win back to the Forty Acres this weekend.
