The foundational piece in the Longhorns 2023 class is the elite five-star Isidore Newman quarterback commit Arch Manning. Since the summer, Arch has continually put in work recruiting for the Longhorns 2023 class. And that work will continue this weekend when Arch makes his first visit to Austin for a game weekend of the fall.

This is also the first unofficial visit for Arch to see Texas since the summer.

Arch will be doing his best recruiting job with some of the confirmed visitors that will be in attendance with him for the Iowa State game this weekend such as 2024 four-star Humble Atascocita interior offensive lineman Nate Kibble, McDonald, and Pimpton, among others.

This is also exciting to see Arch make his first unofficial visit to Austin for a game weekend this fall in the midst of Texas really hitting its stride on the field in Big 12 play. We know that Arch is really excited about what he is seeing out of redshirt freshman quarterback Quinn Ewers and this Texas offense in recent weeks.

There should be real excitement in the air with Arch on campus for this important Big 12 game for the Longhorns against the Cyclones. And it wouldn’t surprise me in the slightest to see some other “unexpected” visitors in attendance for the Texas-Iowa State game, largely thanks to the presence of Manning, along with all the momentum riding with the Longhorns in the midst of this two-game winning streak.
