Here’s where we start the truly notable injuries that showed up for the Horned Frogs in the last few weeks.

One of the more unfortunate injuries that the Horned Frogs suffered during the month of October came when the former LSU Tigers senior linebacker Marcel Brooks was announced to miss what will likely be the rest of the 2022 season.

It was just a few weeks ago that TCU head coach Sonny Dykes announced that Brooks will undergo surgery and that “he’ll probably be out the rest of the year”.

Brooks never really played a huge role on this defense. But he did help to provide more depth at the linebacker position this year after he was converted from playing wide receiver and defensive back, respectively, in the last two seasons.

Brooks almost played all the skill positions on both sides of the ball in the last three or four seasons with TCU and LSU.

In the three games he did play in this season for the Horned Frogs, Brooks took a little more than five dozen defensive snaps as a strongside linebacker.
