Texas basketball and head coach Chris Beard are set to open up the Leon Black Classic this week with a matchup in Edinburg, TX, on Nov. 21 against the Northern Arizona Lumberjacks out of the Big Sky Conference. This is the first of two games for No. 4 ranked Texas in the Leon Black Classic, celebrating the late former Texas player and assistant coach.

The second of two games for the Longhorns in the Leon Black Classic is set to come at home at the brand-new Moody Center on Nov. 26 against UTRGV.

But the Longhorns had to focus on taking care of business against Northern Arizona first. Tipoff of Texas-Northern Arizona had to wait a little bit longer than originally anticipated, though.

Texas and Northern Arizona were originally set to tip off at 7:30 p.m. CT on Nov. 21. But it looks like the start time got pushed back, potentially due to the late ending to UTRGV’s game earlier in the evening.

But that is mostly speculation based on the late start time on Longhorn Network for this game and a post from Joe Cook of Inside Texas on Twitter ahead of the delayed tip-off time on Nov. 21.

We don’t have an exact tip-off time at the moment for the Texas-Northern Arizona game. But we’ll follow for the start of the broadcast for this game.
