If there is a real game-changer that Sark and the Longhorns could get into the 2023 class among the priority recruits that are currently committed to another school at the moment, it is definitely the highly touted four-star wide receiver DeAndre Moore Jr.

This speedy and potent St. John Bosco product/Louisville Cardinals commit is down to just a couple of options at this point of his recruitment.

It looks like the final decision from Moore is going to boil down to Texas and the Georgia Bulldogs. New Louisville head coach Jeff Brohm was originally slated to make an in-home visit with Moore this week. And it does look like that came to fruition in the last couple of days.

But I don’t think that’s ultimately going to move the needle enough with Moore to keep him from flipping his commitment to either Texas or Georgia with signing day coming up in a couple of weeks.

Moreover, Sark and wide receivers coach/passing game coordinator Brennan Marion already made an in-home visit with Moore this week that apparently went really well. Georgia was also slated for an in-home visit this week that could be something to watch for the next week or so.

If I had to give my thoughts right now, I would say that Texas has slightly better odds to flip Moore’s commitment from Louisville than Georgia. But the margins are very slim. And Georgia still has some good connections with Moore and his camp that will continue to play a role in his final decision, which is expected in the next 10 days.
