Texas Football: 2 Longhorns signees that stood out at All-American Game

There were quite a few signees in the 2023 Texas football recruiting class that took part in the festivities at the Under Armour All-American Game on Jan. 3. Of the more than 100 prospects that played in the Under Armour All-American Game, five are Texas commits that signed with head coach Steve Sarkisian in the 2023 recruiting class during the Early Signing Period last month.

And we saw plenty of plays made during the All-American Game on Tuesday night from early Longhorns signees in the 2023 class, despite the low-scoring contest.

This is nice to see considering how this can be used as a measuring stick in terms of the college readiness for some of the top Longhorns signees. These postseason All-American games and bowls aren’t going to be a make-or-break scenario for any of these players.

Future Texas football players that stood out in the Under Armour All-American Game

But it is one final opportunity for a lot of these recruits to get some reps against the top competition from their respective recruiting class before officially arriving on college campuses.

And some of the Longhorns signees in the 2023 class certainly made their name known in the All-American Game this week. We also saw some future Longhorns standout on both sides of the ball in the All-American Game, which saw Team Phanton beat Team Speed in the ned by the final score of 14-7.

With that in mind, here’s a look at two early Longhorns signees that stood out in the All-American Game on Jan. 3.
