3 last-minute 2023 pre-signing day commits Texas football could nab

At this point, I honestly don’t know how much of a shot special teams coordinator/tight ends coach Jeff Banks and the Longhorns have with the elite five-star Pinnacle (AZ) tight end Duce Robinson.

But the fact remains that the Texas coaching staff is going to recruit elite high school talents such as Robinson through the whistle no matter what. Robinson is going to be no exception to that rule.

The problem is that Texas might be too far behind the Georgia Bulldogs in the race to land a commitment from Robinson. Georgia had a lot of the momentum in this recruitment for the last few weeks, taking a sizable lead over Texas and the USC Trojans.

We will be keeping an eye on this recruitment as it enters the final days before Robinson is set to announce his final decision.

At the moment, the house money would be placed on Georgia to nab Robinson’s pledge over Texas and USC.
