Quanell X Farrakhan Jr., WR

One of the in-state wide receivers in the 2025 class that has impressed me the most early on is the talented and quick 6-foot and 170-pound Spring (TX) The Woodlands product Quanell “X” Farrakhan Jr.

Texas is one of the schools involved early in this recruitment. Yet, Sark and the Longhorns haven’t officially offered Farrakhan as of the writing of this article on the morning of March 4. I would imagine that an offer could be in the works in the near future, though.

Farrakhan already has a good relationship with the Texas coaches. And he’s visited the Forty Acres three times in the last year or so as he made the unofficial trip to Austin this weekend.

Farrakhan is just too talented and explosive for him not to draw serious interest and eventually an offer from Sark and the Longhorns staff. He looks like a natural fit in Sark’s offense, as he’s got that electric ability to make defenders miss in space and the versatility to be moved around to different spots at the line of scrimmage pre-snap.

At the moment, Farrakhan holds offers from around a dozen schools including the Georgia Bulldogs, Penn State Nittany Lions, TCU Horned Frogs, Arkansas Razorbacks, and Tennessee Volunteers.

Two schools I would watch in the coming weeks that could offer Farrakhan are Texas and the Texas A&M Aggies. Farrakhan visited Texas on March 3 and he posted on Twitter earlier this week that he’s also making the trip to College Station to see Texas A&M on March 4.
