The tip-off time between the two-seed Texas basketball and 15-seed Colgate Raiders in the Round of 64 Midwest Region was originally set for 6:25 p.m. CT on March 16 at Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines, IA. But it now looks like the tip-off time will be pushed back a little less than a half-hour due to delays in other March Madness action on March 16.

The Twitter page for “March Madness Men’s Basketball TV” posted just before 6 p.m. CT on March 16 that the tip-off time between the Longhorns and Raiders is now set for 6:50 p.m. CT.

This Round of 64 showdown between Texas and Colgate will be broadcast live on TBS. The team calling the action for this game on TBS will be Jason Benetti and Robbie Hummel.

Interim head coach Rodney Terry and the Longhorns will face head coach Matt Langel and the Raiders after a two-seed was already shocked in an upset with the Princeton Tigers downing the PAC-12 Tournament champion Arizona Wildcats earlier in the day on March 16.

We’ve already seen two teams in the top four seeds fall early in the Round of 64 action on March 16. The 13-seed Furman Paladins pulled off the late and shocking upset of the four-seed Virginia Cavaliers to really get the mayhem started on the first day of the Round of 64.

Moreover, Texas enters the NCAA Tournament with a record of 26-8 (12-6 Big 12) after a dominant 20-point win in the Big 12 Tournament final over the top-seeded Kansas Jayhawks on March 11. Texas carries a four-game winning streak into the Big Dance.

Meanwhile, Colgate also boasts a record of 26-8 (17-1 Patriot) following an 18-point win over the Lafayette Leopards in the Patriot League Tournament final on March 8. Colgate has won nine straight heading into this matchup on March 16.
