Parker Livingstone

One of the top wide receiver priorities for the Longhorns in the 2024 class for a little more than the last year is the lengthy 6-foot-4 and 190-pound Lucas Lovejoy (TX) product Parker Livingstone. The blue-chip wideout Livingstone has remained in constant communication with the Texas coaches since last offseason.

Texas originally offered Livingstone last summer, in the midst of his first unofficial trip to Austin in mid-June. Sark and the Longhorns have continued to make Livingstone a priority since they originally offered him roughly nine months ago.

And while some might figure that the change for the Longhorns at wide receivers coach early this offseason could be something that sets them back a little bit in terms of the relationships in this recruitment, it looks like the addition of Jackson to the staff has done nothing but good things here. Livingstone has spoken very highly of Jackson in the last month.

Jackson seems to be pushing a lot of the right buttons in this recruitment already. It says a lot to me that Livingstone spoke so glowingly of Jackson’s background and how he can help the blue-chip wideout eventually reach the NFL.

"“Jackson coming from the NFL is awesome, that’s my dream and he knows how to get there.”"

This is another case of whatever Jackson and the Longhorns are doing in this recruitment is definitely working. In the last couple of weeks alone, there are multiple recruiting reporters/analysts that have forecasted Livingstone’s commitment to Texas with some pretty high confidence levels.

That includes two 247Sports Crystal Ball Predictions entered in the last 14 days, both of which have high levels of confidence, projecting Livingstone’s pledge to Texas.

Texas recently hosted Livingstone for an unofficial trip in mid-January. And it sounds like another visit to Austin for the spring or summer is very viable as Texas looks the part of the leader among Livingstone’s top schools at the moment.
