How to watch Texas baseball vs. Texas Tech: TV/stream, odds, game time
Texas baseball and head coach David Pierce are set to open up Big 12 play at home at UFCU Disch-Falk Field this weekend in Austin against the Texas Tech Red Raiders. On March 24, Texas will open up a three-game series this weekend against Texas Tech to put its 11-game winning streak on the line.
Pierce and the Longhorns come into this game with a record of 15-7 (0-0 Big 12) following a win in a high scoring 17-11 win at home at the Disch on March 21 over the Incarnate Word Cardinals. Texas’ bats are on fire since the Longhorns opened up the season with a record of 4-7.
Meanwhile, Texas Tech comes into this series with a record of 18-4 (2-1 Big 12) following a dominant 12-1 win over the Oklahoma State Cowboys to cap a three-game weekend series in its conference opener in Lubbock on March 19. Texas Tech took two wins out of that three-game weekend series against the Pokes.
Here’s a look at the TV/streaming information, betting odds, and game prediction as Texas gets set to host Texas Tech during a three-game weekend series at the Disch, starting on March 24 at 7 p.m. CT.

Texas vs. Texas Tech prediction
Texas Tech and Texas are both red-hot coming into this game on March 24. Texas Tech looked really good in its weekend series against a good Oklahoma State squad last weekend, including a massive 12-run outburst in the series finale on March 19.
But the Longhorns are one of the hottest teams in the Big 12 in the last couple of weeks, doing exactly what it needed to do to get back on track after a cold start to the regular season.
With both offenses on fire of late, it feels like this weekend’s series will largely be determined by the pitching performances. Texas needs the likes of Lucas Gordon, Travis Sthele, etc., to come up big for the Longhorns to take this series.
If the Longhorns can set the tone on March 24, that will go a long way to showing that this team is really righting the ship against the No. 14 ranked team in the country in Texas Tech.
