The depth of Texas’ interior defensive line will be shown off for the first time in the NFL Draft in the 2023 class. Texas has two interior defensive linemen that are likely to be selected in the 2023 draft, which would be a first since 2009.

One of the former Texas defensive linemen likely to be selected in the 2023 draft is the All-Big 12 senior Moro Ojomo. The 6-foot-3 and 295-pound Ojomo saw his draft stock rise after a very efficient and productive senior season at Texas last fall.

He graded out as the top interior defensive lineman in the Big 12 last season and as one of the five best in the Power Five. Ojomo showed off last season his improved skills as a pass rusher and a run stopper as he was more agile and explosiveness off the line of scrimmage than in any year prior at Texas.

Ojomo also showed off those sought-after athletic traits with a nice outing at the NFL Combine a couple of months ago. His combine grade ranked him among the five best defensive tackles in this draft class. And he ranks among the 10 highest-graded defensive tackles in terms of total score from the NFL.

I think Ojomo will be a solid get for a team that needs to bolster depth in a particular role that suits his skill set along the interior defensive line. He’s a high-floor player that will get the job done within his own role at the next level.

Projection: 5th round (136th overall) to the Chicago Bears
