Another elite in-state wide receiver prospect in the 2025 class that Jackson and the Longhorns have made a little bit more headway with of late is the five-star Fulshear (TX) Katy Jordan product, Andrew Marsh. The 6-foot-1 and 175-pound Marsh has formed a good relationship with Jackson in the last few months.

Special teams coordinator/tight ends coach Jeff Banks is also one of the leading recruiters pursuing Marsh on the trail. Texas has a lot of coaches involved in this recruitment to some degree, which is a good indicator of how much the Longhorns are prioritizing Marsh heading into the summer.

It’s also a good sign that Texas has hosted multiple successful visits with Marsh so far this offseason. Marsh made it to Austin unofficially for both Junior Days so far this offseason. The most recent Junior Day visit was for the cookout and open practice/scrimmage on the weekend of March 25.

He was also on campus for the first Junior Day of the offseason, which also happened to be the last time that Sanchez made it to the 40.

Marsh has visited Texas more times than any other school in 2023. It will be key for Jackson and the Longhorns to continue to keep Marsh on campus as much as possible during the summer and fall.

The biggest competition coming the Longhorns’ way in this recruitment this summer will be the Texas A&M Aggies, USC Trojans, Oklahoma Sooners, and LSU.
