The list of official visitors for Texas football this summer just keeps expanding. Texas and head coach Steve Sarkisian added another official visitor to the docket for June on May 16 with the announcement that the highly touted four-star LSU Tigers commit and Fairburn (GA) Langston Hughes product Jojo Stone will see Austin next month.

Stone announced on Twitter on May 16 that he will officially visit Texas from June 16-18.

The official next month will be Stone’s first return visit to the Forty Acres since he made the trip to Austin unofficially in mid-April. He also made an unofficial visit to Texas in late March.

Moreover, Texas was one of the two schools where Stone set official visits for June early this week. Texas will get a mid-June official visit, which comes a couple of weeks after he makes the official trip to see the UCF Knights from June 3-5.

It also sounds like official visits to see the Louisville Cardinals and Florida Gators could also be in the works for Stone. Louisville has generated some buzz in this recruitment after Stone unofficially visited late last month.

Stone maintains he is still locked in with his commitment to LSU

While Texas has gotten Stone to campus a lot in the last few months, the blue-chip wideout out of Georgia maintains (per On3) that he is still locked in with LSU.

"“I’m still taking the process in. I’m locked in with LSU but I have some official visits set.”"

That isn’t stopping Sark, new wide receivers coach Chris Jackson, and the Longhorns from making a push in this recruitment heading into the summer. The route-running and playmaking abilities of the 5-foot-11 and 175-pound Stone caught the attention of the Texas coaches, namely Jackson.

Texas is starting to load up on the official visitors at wideout during the weekend of June 16. Stone is now one of three blue-chip wideouts set to officially visit Texas starting on June 16, with the other two being the Missouri five-star Ryan Wingo and Carthage, TX, four-star Aeryn Hampton.
